This Privacy Policy explains how Nuvis collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data when you use the website and related services.

1. General provisions

This Privacy Policy provides the User with information about the processing of their personal data by the administrator of the Nuvis service - FOP Lontkovskyi Serhii Andriiovych, a sole proprietor registered and operating under the laws of Ukraine, registration number 3397414452 (the "Administrator"), including information required by Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR").

Carefully read this Policy before using the service, because during the use of Nuvis the collection, processing, use, storage and transfer of personal data, including cross-border transfer, may occur.

2. What are personal data?

Personal data means any information about the User that allows the User to be identified directly or indirectly, for example a name, user identifier, location information, online identifiers or other information related to the User.

3. What data does the Administrator process?

The Administrator may process data provided directly by the User, including name and surname, nickname, email address, phone number, gender, age, avatar, payment data and payment method data. This data may be provided during registration, service use, support interactions and promotional activities.

The Administrator may also process data collected while you use Nuvis, including activity history in the service, information about device type, model, device ID, operating system, browser, approximate location, support interaction details, cookies, web beacons and results of marketing or promotional activities.

If the User registers through a social network account, the User consents to the transfer of the data required for registration, such as name, surname, email address, avatar, user ID and date of birth, from the social network owner to the Administrator.

4. Legal bases and purposes of processing

The Administrator processes data for the performance of the User Agreement and for steps preceding the conclusion of the agreement, including registration, service delivery, payment processing, personalization and communication with Users.

The Administrator may also process data based on the User's consent, for example to improve marketing relevance, use cookies and provide content that works correctly on the User's device.

In addition, the Administrator may rely on legitimate interest for direct marketing, fraud prevention, analytics, service improvement and notifying Users about new software products, updates and promotional offers. The User may opt out of marketing communications using the methods provided in the service or by contacting the Administrator.

5. Retention period

Data is stored and processed no longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Retention periods are determined case by case and depend on the nature of the data, the purpose of collection and relevant legal or operational requirements.

After the retention period expires, the Administrator may aggregate or delete data to a level where the User can no longer be identified and continue to process such information only in statistical form.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The Nuvis website and any related applications may use cookies and similar technologies. These technologies store identifiers on the User's device and help keep the service functional, secure and measurable.

Nuvis may use essential cookies, analytics cookies, targeting cookies and third-party cookies. Analytics may include Google Analytics in order to count traffic, measure performance and improve the effectiveness of the service. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the service work.

The User can restrict cookie use, change cookie settings or withdraw consent by using the cookie banner, browser settings or mobile device settings.

7. Data sharing

For the proper provision of Nuvis, support of its functions, marketing, advertising, payment processing and other operational needs, the Administrator may engage independent contractors, service providers, partner companies and other organizations.

Where data is transferred to a third party located in a country that does not ensure an adequate level of data protection under EU law, the Administrator applies additional protective measures, including appropriate data processing agreements.

The Administrator may use data centers, cloud SaaS platforms, CDN providers, analytics providers, communications services and payment processors. Those providers receive data only for the purposes connected with service provision and are required to protect it.

8. Policy changes and security

The Administrator reserves the right to amend this Policy. Where changes affect the rights to use previously collected information, the Administrator notifies the User and, where required by law, requests consent before using the data in the new way.

The Administrator implements security measures including limited internal access, HTTPS, password hashing, staff training, non-disclosure and data processing agreements, firewalls and backups. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
